A podcast hosted by comics on all types of "geeky" topics. Not The Nerdist, but Orlando's own Geekopoly.
Hosts Allan Forbes, Patrick Hawkins, and Kevin White present the semi-monthly video podcast. The show, started in September 2010 on the online network IzonOrlando, recently started their second season. The semi-monthly podcasts regularly films at some of Orlando's biggest geek events and also hosted this year's The Geeks of Comedy show at Megacon. While spotlighting the Orlando geeky culture, the show also covers the latest news in comics, movies, and more.
While we're here, I'd also like to give a huge plug to the IzonOrlando, which like I hope GGOrlando does, hopes to advance the Orlando cultural scene through their myriad of programming. Each show spotlights something unique aspect, and I'm especially a fan of Orlando Live (though I don't know if they do it any more) which has gotten me into some Orlando bands.
