GGOrlando’s Guide to Florida Anime Experience

florida_anime_experience

This weekend, Orlando welcomes back the Florida Anime Experience.  In its second year, the convention focuses solely on Japanese pop culture, such as Anime, manga, and film.

Here’s a quick guide for all the otaku planning on making the trip.

Location

This year’s FAE will take place at the International Palms Resort & Conference Center on International Drive.  The show will open each day at 10am and will run into the evenings (Friday & Saturday until 11pm, Sunday until 6pm).

In addition to Ms. Hawkes, FAE will host Dan Woren of Robotech as well as Darrel Guilbeau of Durarara!!.

Following the main events, Cosplay Deviants will be holding an after-party Saturday night.  And if it’s anything like the Hentai Cafes they hosted at Florida Supercon, you can imagine how that’s going down.
