This Week at Generation Geek

Happy Monday, geeks!

Well, I’m in all sorts of petsitting hell as my family’s on a Caribbean cruise.  So, taking care of four dogs, two cats, and a fish has cut down on my geekdom over the weekend as they fight each other for my attention.

I was able to take in Saturday night’s Skill Focus: Burlesque performance, Skill Focus: ASSemble.  Very cute, especially whoever played Pepper Potts.  But, I digress.  Otherwise I’ve been locked in my parents’ house taking care of this menagerie of animals.  Ugh.

Since the show took place at Theatre Downtown, and I got there over an hour early, got a chance to walk around Ivanhoe Village.  Which is where today’s Local Spotlight comes from.  Because I put in a lot of effort in our weekly Local Spotlight features.  If you’re a Disney fan and Star Wars lover, this week starts off the annual Star Wars Weekends at Disney Hollywood Studios.  Here’s what else is happening this week at Generation Geek:
