Featured Release: Ultimate Comics Spider-Man: Death of Spider-Man Fallout TPB
So, now that Avengers has been out for a few weeks it’s time to prepare for the next big Marvel movie event – July’s release of The Amazing Spider-Man. From recent trailers, it appears that the film is going to borrow heavily from Marvel’s “Ultimate” line of comics. As many comics readers likely know, the “Ultimate”-version of Peter Parker has moved on to that great big web in the sky.
This week’s trade paperback release shows how the world changed following the death of Peter Parker. It also shows the rise of a new hero… The new Ultimate Spider-Man Miles Morales. Admittedly, I got misty eyed in Fallout #1 seeing Aunt May mourning the loss of her nephew but also the pride she had in him and his sacrifices.
The trade paperback edition of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man: Death of Spider-Man Fallout arrives in stores today.
