Orlando Events Calendar – Batman: White Knight

Those philanthropic do-gooders of Gotham City Bruce Wayne and Miranda Tate will be hosting a charity fundraiser this Saturday, right here in our own backyard at A Comic Shop.

The events of last month in Aurora, Colorado were tragic and heart-breaking.  As you could probably see in my This Week at Generation Geek the following Monday, I was so chocked-up and angered by the situation that I could hardly talk about it.  But here’s our chance to contribute to those who were affected by the events of that night as the folks at A Comic Shop as well as several local groups host Batman: White Knight.  The night will include giveaways and costumed characters with proceeds benefiting the victims of Aurora as well as Base Camp, which helps local children battling cancer.

Batman: White Knight takes place Saturday, August 11th starting at 7pm.
