If you’re like me, you’re overly excited for Celebration to start tomorrow. And there’s nothing wrong with pre-gaming before the biggest Star Wars event around. So head out to Clermont for tonight’s Star Wars Celebration VI Kick-Off Party! at Heroes Landing.
Heroes Landing will be hosting several Star Wars-related guests for their kick-off party:
- Carlos Garzon: artist for the Marvel Star Wars comic series and Star Wars comic strips
- Duncan Jenkins and Gus Lopez: Board members for Rancho Obi-Wan, the largest privately held collection of Star Wars memorabilia. Jenkins and Lopez are the writers of books on memorabilia collecting, including Gus and Duncan’s Comprehensive Guide to Star Wars Collectibles.
- Ryder Windham: writer of over 60 Star Wars books and editor of many more, and for a time was responsible for maintaining the Star Wars continuity across the different books and comics.
In addition, Geeky Pinups will designing unique coat-of-arms with a Star Wars flavor while tribute band High Adventure will be performing.
Heroes Landing’s Star Wars Celebration VI Kick-Off Party! takes place tonight from 4-8pm. Heroes Landing is located at 12348 Roper Blvd. in Clermont.
