Featured Release: Gambit #1
So ol’ Remy got the shaft in X-Men Origins, but really who didn’t?! I know I certainly did. Maybe Marvel is trying to make it up to Gambit by throwing him an ace, with this week’s release of his own series.
The Cajun bandit was introduced into the Marvel Universe in 1990 and was really allowed to blossom two years later as a starring character on the Fox Kids’ animated version of X-Men. An immensely popular character, this will be the third solo title starring Gambit following two previous ongoing series that ran from 1999-2001 and 2004-2005. This new series is being written by X-Men regular James Asmus, who was also a writer on Wolverine, Deadpool, and Generation Hope.
Gambit #1 arrives on store shelves today.
