Orlando Events Calendar – Star Wars Reads Day

This Saturday, all around the country, Lucasfilm – with their publishing partners like Dark Horse Comics, Del Rey, and Scholastic – will be hosting Star Reads Day.  The nationwide initiative, taking place in libraries and bookstores, is aimed at helping promote literacy – and if it happens to increase the popularity of the Star Wars titles, all the better.

Participating bookstores and libraries will have some cool Star Wars swag to give out, raffles with Star Wars-themed prizes, trivia games, and more.  The event is slated to be all-day, but you may want to check with your chosen participant store to get further information.
